My current read. A memoir, this is the true story of Javier, a nine year old immigrant, traveling with virtual strangers from San Salvador to California to reunite with his parents. Not an easy or enjoyable read, but I’m compelled to get through it b/c it’s too important not to finish. I was invited to read it and then participate in a discussion to be held next month. I’ll get back to you when I finish this page turner. Has anyone read it?
