Did (or do!) you love Legos?

Did you or your kids play with Legos? Well now you can view them in a whole different context — without stepping on one in the middle of the night and trying to keep from screaming in pain.

Swan Song Celebration Event!

Last Sunday I celebrated a “launch” event for Swan Song although the suspense novel was released nearly a year ago. I was blown away by the number of attendees. We packed the room! Oddly, I was comfortable reading aloud; maybe I’m getting the hang of it. Sold out of copies on hand and met many new readers.
Thanks to all who attended and to my friend Amy for her help — including serving as photographer. When the day was done Amy suggested we sit and enjoy a glass of wine and share a toast together ♥️ Perfect!

“Swan Song”
Mara Cordovan’s life had been rough even before she learned she was dying. Her death sentence was caused by chemical exposure and her demise could have been prevented. With nothing left to lose, she decides against seeking restitution in the time she has left. Instead, Mara wants revenge.

My 2023 Year in Books

My goal for the year was 35 books and I surpassed it by 5. Ten of my forty were non-fiction — a first for me — and six were by fellow indie authors!

Take a look to see if we shared any titles. Now on to 2024! Happy New Year to Everyone!

My TOP 5 are (drum roll, please!)

5 Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus

4 The Jester by James Patterson

3 10% Happier by Dan Harris

2 Camino Island by John Grisham

#1 for 2023! The Book of Lost Friends by Lisa Wingate
